Do mini-meanwhile movies ever play?

I've never seen either one. One is for espionage and other miscellaneous events and another seems to be for found ship events, but only of a specific type (other found ship events only give a graphic).

I have not seen any. Though they would be nice to look at, they are pretty much eye candy. Many of the ones we see only run the first time the event takes place, such as first colonization, finding a ship or resource with a survey ship.

I did enjoy the ones in Shogun: Total War, although after a while they got repetitive and I knew if my ninja or geisha was going to succeed or fail in the first few seconds of the video.
