I recently created a map using galaxy forge and I am having a strange issue. I already know how to make certain players start in certain spots (the map is a 2 vs 4 map) and that part works fine. The issue I am having is strange. Normally when you create a game using one of the standard maps the game creator always starts in the top spot in the list of players. For the map I created the top two spots are for the 2 person team and the next 4 spots are for the 4 player team. The teams are set up to stack 4 computer players againts 2 human players.
Now for the setup to be correct when I create the game I should pop in as the first player and my friend should pop in as the second player and i then convert the remainder as computers. But for some reason no matter what I do, after i create the game i pop in on the team of 4 players (which is spot number three and no changing of the team index setting will prevent me from sitting in team 2), and I cannot change it without manually changing my team, which ends up messing up the starting planets I have created for each of the players. I can do a work around by changing a bunch of settings on the map in galaxy forge...but I do not want to have to do this with each map.
So basically I am asking if there is some sort of setting in galaxy forge that I am unaware of that is changing which spot I pop into as the creating player.
On a side note it would be great is Sins had the ability for the players to be able to click on the symbol of the brain and move their position around each slot in the teams....other RTS game have that ability but sins does not.
Thank you for your help on this.
