fleet formation

does any one know if theres a way to mkae a fleet less organized meaning  if i cave all ships the formation 0 yea they are intermixed but the still form a sinlge file square is there a way to make a huge mass of ships

There's only the one formation. You can change how close together the ships are from the fleet management section, though.

It's really useful actually, you can use loose formation to get "inside" an enemy fleet, then switch to tight and you've got a giant, concentrated globe of death killing your enemy's fleet from the inside out :)

You could try this:

Ship A follows ship B, B=>C, C=>D, and so on... ...You can make all sorts of configurations...

Once I had all my ships making a ring around the planet, they started rising and finally ended up in a tight cluster over the north pole of my home-planet!

If it were an enemy planet and my fleet were sieges, I would have had death from above :)
