She's improving, thanks for asking. They removed her sutures and the trach tube day before yesterday. She looks a lot better without that tube sticking out of her neck. Her artificial voice unit should arrive next week.

I'll be heading back out early next week. I feel better about it now that I know she's doing even better than the doc expected.

We're trucking along, couple old chubbies doin what we need to. I can't literally truck anymore, I had to start injecting insulin so I lost my CDL. I never thought I would miss it so much. So your tales of the road are fun for me, Mason, I'll truck vicariously through your experiences.

We got a funny tangle with MamaCharlie's blog. I registered her on a separate email address but got one of the letters transposed and now I can't figure out how to fix it. Someday, when I'm real smart, I'll figure it out.

You do know they've changed the rules regarding insulin don't you? Once you've been on it for a certain period of time, I can't remember if it's 6 months or 12, and the doctor determines that your condition is controlled and stable, you're eligible to get a 6 months medical card and can start trucking again.

Yikes! I didn't know that loon was a trucker. Doesn't surprise me too much though, I meet some pretty "out there" truckers here and there.

I haven't read any of the Givens articles. I have a limited group I read...there is only so much time in a day and you know...as brain challenged as I am, it takes me a while to read some of these articles...you know jumping back and forth to google a word and I read so slow anyway.
