How do I choose which player I start as?

I made a specific map with a scenario in mind, but I can't seem to let it choose what slot I start in. I want to be in the first one, but it keeps putting me in the third. Is there a way to force it to make it put the user (I.E - me) in the first player slot?

I believe you are player0 so to spawn at the planet you want set it to the home world for player0. Then set the team index for that planet to 0 instead of -1. You can find the team index under "edit - Players".

I had it that way. I changed the name of the faction to something preset, but it should still work the same. I'll play with it some more. Thanks.

Something is wrong. Whenever I set the TeamIndex to anything, the game permanently puts me in slot 3 in a new game. Always, and I can't change it back to -1 for Team Indexes. I'm still in that slot.

What am I doing wrong?

When I want to start at a particular place I leave all the preset names(i.e. player0 for DesigName and InGameName)alone and just change the team index to 0. It works everytime for me that way, as long as I set the world I want to spawn at to player0 homeworld (and only have one player0 homeworld). Does this help? - J
