Ok guys, to answer your questions:

Yes, Novocastrian stands for newcastle upon tyne. I'm half french half italian but live in the UK and also a big fan of NUFC, so I have to balance my passion for europe with my passion for the team. So here is the deal: I'll change the empire's name to European Alliance (or something else, we'll need a vote) once more people join.

Forget about the UN: our mission is precisely to create a bipolar system, s the rule of international lore obviously is not being respected.

I think I disagree with that suffering part though because we are having great fun watching our enemies submit before our might while we continue to climb to take our place as the leading empire. That is only a matter of short time. Beware all enemies of the Alliance, we will conquer you too.

God morning, Gentlemen

And a fine morning indeed (you know... its friday).

The local soccer team got "kicked" out of the UEFA-cup yesterday, the goddamn loosers had 5-6 100% chances - none of them ended up as goals. My frustration is growing to a level, where i'm actually looking forward to the upcoming winterbreak. (:(

Well its friday - so i'll dry my eyes and start thinking of the upcoming weekend and the Christmas Party (with lots of snaps). Enjoy your fridays :CONGRAT:

Salut, i'm french so my english is bad. Sorry.
It's perhaps not the good forum for my question but i'm desesperated and... european.
I've just have the game but it returns to windows after 6-12 months. My version is 1.10 in french, windows Millenium. It seems there are many updates but i don't know if there's one for french version.

First of all welcome to European Empire thread. If you're interested in joining our website (http://euro.galciv.org) and forums(http://euro.galciv.org/forums/index.php) will be at your disposal.

As for your problem I have the english version so I wouldn't know. We do got some French players but you'd have to check with them.

Je te conseille d'ouvrir un nouveau thread sur ce forum pour obtenir une réponse de Stardock (ou de contacter le distributeur français - Nobilis). La plupart d'entre nous ont la version US, sortie en avril. La version française est très récente.
I would advise to open a new thread on this forum to get an answer from Stardock (or contact french distributor Nobilis). Most of us have the US version. French version just hit the stores a few days ago.

Also : the german version seems to have similar problems. Maybe this link can help ?
