Trade for war against a friendly race?

I wanted to make an offer to the other races that I would attack the Drengin (who I am on friendly terms with) in exchange for some cash. However, the Drengin did not appear in my attack offer list. Can anyone else confirm this?

I'm curious... I have no experience with this myself. Does the game prohibit you from signing yourself into a war against someone you're friendly towards?

I think you can only make atack offers towards races both of you have met. Not sure though.

Oh, I'm sure that the other races have met the Drengin - considering how many times they have had war declared on them.
