1.02 patch not showing?

I've read several threads here of people not being able to see the 1.02 patch -- happening to me too. I've tried switching servers, made sure I'm logged in, etc. It's still showing that 1.01a.333 is the newest version, with no update avail.

I have a similar problem. It says that I have version 1.01 installed (which is also what the game says in the options panel). Yet 1.02 is not showing as an option to download/update to. Also funny is that when I click on the install history, it talks about 1.02 and the last update date is given as 4/4/03, but no way to install it.

Please help.

View menu, make sure the "Show Pre-release versions" entry is checked.

And if still not visible, do Tools/Refresh Application Data

I can't see it either. I did follow Matso's suggestion and still couldn't see it. It does show up in the revision history though.

All right, I found the solution that worked for me buried in the main message about 1.02. What he's saying is to right-click on the Drengin.net tab in Stardock Central, enter your CD serial number and click update. 1.02 should now be available. What a system, seesh.

Grond,

Feadhel listed something that Brad (at least I never found it stated by him) didn't list that worked for me. Right-click on Drengin.net, click edit account, enter your serial # yet again (damn tedious friggin' system), click update, and for me at least, it listed v1.02.036 as available. I abhor this miserable, unfriendly, unwielding updating system one hell of a lot.

Thanks citizen Flagg; that worked. I saved my serial # in a notepad file so I can paste it in the future.

Yup, thanks Joel for providing the solution for "The Case of the Invisible Update". Much appreciated ;) .

That solved it for me too. Incidentally, if you re-enter your serial number, click on another tab besides Dregin.net, then tab back to Dregin.net, your serial number will have disappeared again. You'll be registered for the current session, but you'll need to re-enter your serial number for each subsequent session.

Annoying bug, but at least we can get the updates.

Hi guys,

didn't work for me. >:(
Tried it several times, updated both applications I had available, Drengin.net and Galactic Civilizations.

Definitely agree about this p.o.s. updating system.
