Map: Systems of Teams

This is an 8 player map based on Systems of War which I modified.

The setup is:
- 4 stars with each 6 planets (4 terran & 2 desert), 2 players (teamed up) per star
- 1 star in the middle with lots of stuff (same as Systems of War)
- Increased starting credits/metal/crystals to get underway more quickly

The idea is that the team at each star coordinate their efforts in defending their home system, as well as establishing a foothold in the resource rich central system. Rushing shouldn't be easy since all 6 planets in the home systems are terran/desert, so prepare for a long game.

My only concern is that the game usually forces you to have opposing players in the same starting system -- did that happen here, when you tested your map?

Put the map on Unlocked teams. When you meet the player in your system , ally with him. Have a gentlemans agreement with all parties not to screw around with alliances thereafter. no clue for sp tho...

No, I set the teams in the galaxy file for the players, and in my tests each team is placed in their own system. This is also the reason it starts at team 2 (instead of team 1), because I should've started at team 0 (the programmer's 1 so to say).

I've tested with locked teams and it worked as planned.
