lol well I guess I could argue that you copied mine but I'm sure we can both agree that mass effect had better come out on time! Not to mention it would be nice if bioware hooked us up with more info other than scraps! ::calms down::... another time... another forum.

Hmm, Im thinking they dont realy think a timly releace of a beta, or other game product is a high priority. I realy should stop waiting and do somthing else. At least i got 8 hours of sleep since mid-night when i first checked, my personal guess is for 2-5pm.

I'm pretty sure I saw several "SDC-only" statements from Stardock. Makes some sense, given that the beta is limited to pre-order folks.

GC2 betas always appeared around 5.00pm stardock time (EST?) except for when someone cut through the server cables before Stardock could upload the final build.

So I'm not expecting it until 10pm UK time, after that I'll be listening for the anguished screams echoing across the Atlantic when the office cat coughs a hair ball into the server casing. Then wait 20mins for Frogboy to leg it home to post an update as the entire SDC network keels over.

Oh well, that's pretty much what I thought. I guess I'll just wait till Feburary then. Anyway, at the rate my current game is progressing, I may be able to finish two v1.4 games before then.

Better yet, if the anticipation is killing some of you just put it out of your mind and wait until you wake up on Saturday morning. Upon waking proceed immediately to the computer and begin your pre-Christmas dry run... it should be there waiting for you to download in all of it's glory.  
P.S. Anxious anticipation is a bitch, isn't it?

I don't really want to have to install SDC to get the DA Beta, but I don't necessarily want to wait until February either, so I went ahead and pre-ordered the download plus CD.

Sorry for the 20 questions, but I just gotsta know.

Do you get a CD with the DA Beta on it or do you only get the CD once DA is released?

I haven't upgraded to v1.4 yet, is the v1.4 download is going to disappear anytime soon?

Can DL v1.4 and DA Beta coexist on the same machine or do you have to go back and forth using SDC?

When DA gets released, does v1.4 and DL in general fade off in the sunset, or will they both be supported in a parallel path?

Well, at least Kryo has stated it will be less then 24 hours late (hoping). But given the events of the gc2 release, why dont more people expect this to happen. BTW what is Stardocks offical policy regarding game release time/date ?
