Yes but i have tweaked the game and do not want to lose these cutomizations.

Then make copies of the modded files, reinstall, and next time use the mods folder instead of replacing the core files

See what these crap threads do. They make Kryo read through this drivel on the off chance that someone may need some actual help.

Kryo is the consummate professional, reading through one inane topic after another providing assistance without comment. It must be tough sometimes not to want to just slap some folks silly. I’d like to get together with a couple of six pack’s of beer and hear what he really thinks of all this. I’m sure he’d have stories to tell.

I’d at least like to think that these forums provide comic relief for the Stardock folks. I can’t imagine that they don’t get a good laugh over the antics that go on here, mine included.

Mumble, you should check out the IRC. Kryo, Cari et al often lament some of the people on these forums. Especially the MP people.

And if anyone thinks what I say here is harsh, I basically screen what I'm saying by typing lots of angry angry things in the chatroom. Then kryo hits me with the banstick and I modify it for acceptability.

I wish this game had a hotseat mode, that would be so kewl.

What's involved with getting on the IRC? Do you need special software?

I've modified my PC by disabling a myraid of services such as instant messaging, remote assistance, task scheduler and anything else that I suspected of causing the computer to do anything that I didn't explicitly tell it to do. Certainly anything dependent on instant messaging will fail.
