If there are enough capital ships in the list to scroll down, the Auto-Pick Ability button no longer works properly. The bottom half of the button will select the ship underneath the button instead.
Thank you for reporting this, may I ask if switching to the Test branch build resolves this?
It still exists in the test branch.
