Mass war declaration?

Those pesky Torians declared war on me ... I was losing for a long time but eventually managed to fight back ... the moment I conquered their homeworld every single faction in the game declared war on me at the same time?!

Is this normal?  I've never had this happen to me in Galciv3 or Galciv4 (before Supernova)

The Torians had the culture perk that causes every AI to go to war when you capture their Home world.

It is works as designed at the moment although many others have noted this action.

Hello There, where can i see if any Faction has such perks? Same happendd to me, was also wondering why it Happend, Play the Game in German and the Faction i conquered isnt called Torians.

I couldn't see this "perk" either ... pretended to start a new game as Torians and saw no mention of it?

It's not a faction perk. You have to earn culture points and choose it from the right culture tree.
