Let me preface by saying that I was a tester and longtime player of Sins 1(long before trinity was thought up). Also that I am using a PC that is slightly dated but not yet obsolete.
The game loads just fine, no apparent errors. I had one crash while playing after clicking on the 3rd ability of the colonizer cap ship. Beyond that gameplay went smoothly. I am not a fan of the new status screens compared to the rebelion screens especially the tech tree. It felt extremely clunky to truly utilize. I did enjoy a few of the menus however, the owned planets screen for one. It actually made it faster and easier to manage all my planets. The market screen truly confused me the most. I went to trade material and there was no market. I later found out why and I feel like it makes more sense. The final point of the test for me to bring up is the moving planets, I like the fact that the feature is toggleable and that it adds dynamic depth to the gameplay. the save I made was in the middle of building a huge fleet, so tomorrow will be the stress test from me and i wipe the map from one side to the other. The costs of extractors and other buildings, even the ships took some time to get used to as it is all much higher then sins 1 prices. I will be updating this thread as I move on with the testing. If anyone has anything specific I should be testing please let me know.
