Editing DLC entity files

I am trying to edit some of the new DLC planet entity files but can't seem to convert them from BIN. Is this a protection feature or is my conversion tool faulty?

I am also interested in what the DLC number refers to in some of the files? Is this to stop the files being posted in mods which would let people who haven't purchased the DLC use them?

You can have all the DLC files you want in your mod, I add them to SOA2 and don't own either.

dlcId 255910

is the line in the file that determines if a user has access to that file or not. Normal files, and each DLC have their own ID number.

is the basics of converting manually, scroll down and I have made 7z archives (7-zip.org/) you extract as a folder, drop the files in the folder and press the appropriate convert button.
