Just going to venture a guess he was TL, put double trade SBs everywhere, and put industrial specialization on every planet...
you had some planets you could set double sb on left so 6000 was completely doable

i have build sb almost everywhere that won't influence trade line
but i was not eco spot so -28% annoying

But yeah I haven't noticed sun income so I wrongly assumed you set them up on trade line only.
Perhaps you could optimize trade line a bit more though
confused that the other players have 0 income? at some points.. so desync?

when we won income was 3000+
then i built some sbs and went for dinner
when i was back i printscreen
but already almost 50 nodes long trade route...
