So I am on this morning and see over 200 players online at this point and a bunch of comp stomps going on. I figure its getting close to summer time and school boys must be out trying out there new little game online finally... so how to we encourage kids to play online matches versus humans? That is the question of transitioning them from training wheels to none.
I think the reason is actually because of the steam sale, but regardless, if there were ever a time pros should try to be a bit more open and help new players this would be it.
Yeah we'll see if some of the usual people who like to go around calling people smurfs, or booting someone from a game who's been waiting for it to start for 30 minutes all because when it got full, someone jumped on the channel and said "any room?"
Once again GoaFan77 is the voice of reason around here, we definately need to "cash-in" on the fact that there will be some new blood over the next few days. I think im going to host some normal anyone can join 5s over the weekend.
try 415. It amazing what steam sale can do esp when online player numbers were dwindling.
