Most modders are willing to answer direct questions or link you to direct resources...most modders don't have the time to do much more than that, sorry mate....
Aye, Ezah I'll recommend my first point in that other thread. If you really want someone to "tutor" you, you need to be helping an existing mod project first. We see too many people say they're going to make a cool mod and never do it. By working with an experienced modder on his mod, he'll invest more in teaching you because he'll get something out of it. Otherwise as Seleuceia says, we do maintain threads with up to date materials and are glad to answer direct questions, but we don't have the time to teach someone step by step.
