To be honest I really don't know.
Some modders get burnt out over time, lose interest, and move on to bigger, and better things. I suppose that is what happened to bailknight. It happens to a lot of us. I have abandoned projects before just out of sheer lack of interest (starfleet command, and nexus). Almost gave up on SoA2 a few times out of frustration. I don't consider myself an "active" modder now. The interest is still there. The free time is not.
AFAIK all Bailknight made was his graphics mod. If he made any other contributions i am not aware of them.
