That's an interesting way to have AIs use more durable scouts later in the game. I'm sure this isn't a bug, just something I thought I'd post about.

Usually the AI sends a Flak ship to scout for me.
I've seen it both ways, must depend on the AI type.
Yeah, I've seen flaks do that before too.
