why arent any JOIN games visble?

i try to join 3 avalbie games on entrement but its not visable for some reason

The games available count includes the original game.  Very few people play with Entrenchment; they've either stuck with the original game or have fully upgraded to Diplomacy.  It's unfortunate, because Entrenchment is an excellent stand-alone product, but it's the middle child getting squeezed out by the original vanilla flavor and the full version.

The vanilla, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy situation is like the TIE series from Star Wars, where the TIE Avenger i.e. Entrenchment is the middle child that is overshadowed by its siblings, the far more prevalent TIE Interceptor i.e. vanilla and the far superior TIE Defender i.e. Diplomacy.

aright thanks i thgouht it was my net or something i mean 3 games were avavilbe for me to join i do neeed to get diplomacy. (hey Zeta1127 i guessing u played star wars empire at war? Lol

As things stand now, the only public online multiplayer action is on the Diplomacy expansion.  Vanilla and Entrenchment is pretty exclusively just friends playing friends-only comp stomps.  The player counts are also about 4x higher on the Diplomacy server.

And as I have been expecting, DirtySanchezz makes his standard "State of Sins Multiplayer" spiel.

My first reply wasn't a direct reference to EaW, though it is an excellent example of my analogy, but the old TIE Fighter and X-wing games, and the back story to the TIE series fighters of the Galactic Civil War.

hell yea today i can finally get  diplomacy  looks like all my hard work of paniting and cleaning cars payed off. by the way what is new in diplomacy?

Envoy Cruisers that can aid allied planets as well as set up for pacts that provide unique benefits, revamped AI's, and a large number of miscellaneous changes added in a recent patch that weren't back-ported to Entrenchment/Vanilla.
