Eve Online

Why is this so hard?

OK its been a while now and people have done Starwars, Home World, Star Trek, and countless other conversions.

Why hasn't anyone created EVE mod that is semi good there is one out there but they put a battleship animation on a flak destroyer (frig).

Is there anyway that i can just open the EVE Online .stuff files and make them into .mesh so i can at least attempt it myself.

oh and before anyone brings it up CCP does not care if you use their resources as long as you give them credit.

please is anyone alive out there Ive seen a lot of links in the mod section that are dead or broken

There is one in the works already led by Haiyoo and they're actually looking for people to help out. He's got permission from CCP to use their assets already.

 

Specifically,

"What I need is people who want to write .ent files for the ships and effects, make the research trees, and once the Caldari are complete help with the next races."

that the one i was talking about that had a battleship that used ewar from eve in the flak frigate spot they even had the name wrong thanks tho banthracis

Agreed. Thats why I listed my mod as a Live Sync beta testers only.

sorry didnt mean to come off that rude haiyooo/myfist0 just been waiting so long for an eve mod when people do things like halo and star trek i have no skill at modding my self its just a bit frustrated

Thats OK. Its a constant battle modders have to deal with.

Either people are constantly pestering to release the mod that is not completed or people are asking why a WIP (Work in Progress), Alfa or Beta is not done. Sometimes you might see a modder blow their top.
