i dont know if this helps but i tried the same thing and it did it too know its working fine i dont know what i did but it has worked fine sense i started my own mod maybe take a pic of the txt file so that we can see what it says

Ok thanks guys for the reply I think I found it were I was changing the numbers I put a few letters instead instead of putting a zero I was putting a O. Stupid mistake I know sorry guys didn't mean to be such a noob. 

yes that WILL cause a minidump, when adjusting numbers ONLY use the number row OR keypad to minimise the risks

What ever happened to the old zero with the stoke through it. I still hand write the zero like that. Should be an option for coders.

Another option is to use my Sins Editor Eclipse Plugin to avoid hunting down simple but very irritating issues. It's a small learning curve to get Eclipse setup and running, but once you get it setup and learn the basics it is very low maintenance.
