models are being squashed

ok as title suggests my models look all squashed up when i veiw them in game they look normal as both a regular and xsi file type but get all squashed up like this and flie sideways without fail and i cant reverse either thing nothing seems to fix it ive looked through the tutorials have i missed somthing

Is my model too small or big?
My model flies sideways or backwards?

Not sure what you mean by squished

yes i fiddled around with both those things doesnt change squat the model is only squashed along one axis and the dotxsi model is fine nothing in that tutorials things seem to help so my problem isnt the general size its just that its been compressed along only one axis

so for example lets say the original model was 5:5:5 on sins it apears as 5:5:1

the scene file is ok nothing wrong with it ive got a jpeg of the ship "squashed" but dont know how to upload it

I wanted to recreate the model from the scene to the game to see if I can pin-point the problem.

I use ImageShack. Sign up, upload a pic, copy the Direct Link address then in the forum click instert/edit image (Tree Icon) and paste the direct link address.
