It might just be that it is offered for free to get publicity for the Source engine and what it can do.
Yeah, you might be right.
Btw, for some really weird reason, in Alien Swarm's mission prep room (you may call it lobby, where you pick char, and weapons), my GPU's temp rises up to a level that I've never seen in any other game! I dont know its pretty weird, because in game, and in the main menu, my gfx card is cool & quiet. But in the Mission Prep specifically, my card heats up almost like running FurMark (stress testing program for the GPU)
IOf course, it could equally be that because Alien Swarm started out as a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004
I didnt know that. I never would have guessed, lol
Morph doesn't realise that ArcticBlunder has been taught the ways of Sir Anti-Troll!
Nah-ah. ArcticBlunder is a true genuine Troll.
Just kidding, I'd never give away my title.
Right on
I think Valve just get rich enough on the games they do sell, and especially from Steam. I mean, they must earn so much money from the sales of other companies using Steam.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Its not like Valve needs to make money out of it, lol.
But I think the game would sell a lot, if they sold it for (lets say) 15 Euros.
The question is, with WolfBoy back, will Mr "I'm-on-a-Higher-Plane-of-Existence-than-You" return?
Tune in next time for another exciting episode of "We Need To Find Something Better To Do!" (copyright Limey Corporation
