How do I convert .entity files into text?

I have got this thing called sinstextbinner.exe that i got from " https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/353296 "

but i can't seem to be able to use it well or at all.

Anyone can help me?

Copy the gameinfo folder from the game you want to convert the original files from into the mod folder of the same version (Like Entrenchment 1.05). Then run the sinstextbinner and select that mod folder to convert, make sure it is set on txt, and hit the convert button.

shuazoid, I suggest copying your sins game folder from program files to another folder/drive (that is NOT in the program files tree), then rename the folder with the sins version number at the end eg 'sins of a solar empire 1.19' or 'sins 1.19', then run the sinstextbinner.exe and using the folders window navigate to the folder you just re-named, double click INTO the folder, then click on the convert this folder button, then click on the convert it now button. the textbinner will now use the convertdata-expansionVERSION.exe to convert all the files in the folders in the selected location to text
