I've had a couple games so far, but in both cases I was the pocket so I saw relatively little action. In one game, I was a Vasari starbase spammer who had such a crazy economy that our team couldn't lose. The other one I was an Advent sitting in the pocket and really didn't do much except feed.
From what I saw going on in the front lines, LRF spam is alive and kicking, but the illuminator is no longer undisputed king. You actually need to use side-beams now. Using front-beams alone and you'll lose to LRM or assailants. I haven't seen anyone try scout spam; there's general consensus that the navigator was nerfed to oblivion, since it was pretty weak before anyways, but I'm curious to see if seekers with that awesome durability are still viable.
Scramble bombers has been improved, but it's hard to test to be honest. Almost everyone gets carrier caps these days, and if they see a carrier-cap coming at them they'll swap to fighters, so scrambling bombers just isn't smart. The change looks good on paper, but in practice the ability still has some fundamental flaws (ie, if I want fighters instead of bombers, it doesn't help me at all!)
