Are you sure this is best way to get your point across? This is 2 post Ive seen, that have been less that wise with the tone.
Beware young one, I smell a in your future.
i'm sorry -Ue_Carbon.. glad ur monitoring posts on here, but maybe u should check the numbering system on here.. my member number is about 3 million menbers older than urs is
meaning that i've been doing stardock/impulse a bit longer than u have.
next, I said I can find modder updates on their personal pages, but stardock, who does manage the sins mod update page, by-the-way, hasn't put an update on the damnable mods page since aug 09. if one goes to the sins page and tries to 'download a mod' they get sent to the damnable incorrect impulse mods page with the un-updated mods on it.
THirdly, yes i do think this is the best way now to get my point across, cause i have already emailed stardock before about this problem and i've recieved no replies when i was all 'kiss-assey' in my emails to them.
I will always start out very nice when i'm starting out on a question, u -Ue, will not always see my start point. usually when i get around to the public forums, i've already gone through other channels to get something fixed.
oh and here is a 'case-in-point'... Requiem_v2.7.0_full_release.. this mod was updated for sins entrenchment 1.04 in late nov 09. it's been available to play since early Dec 09, but does it show up on impulses sins mod page at all????
answer is NO. and the default for the mod page is to show the newest mods first. nothing has been updated on that stardock controlled page since august 09. that page is where stardock and impulse has chosen as the only place that we can go to look for mods for the sins games.
so with that being the only place to find the mods, then stardock/impulse will be held accountable for making sure the mods get placed on that page in a timely manner. and that means 2 days at the most. this is a digital world we are talking about. NO humans nedd to check the validity of teh mods for anything. the site certainly can run a creditable virus checker on all new updated mods when they are unloaded to the page. therefor it should NOT take days to upload an update.
