Banned! I used the old scopes on top of the Empire State Building and, at the time anyway, was waaaaay cool. 

Banned for not appreciating the vast potential of the telescope... from 'bird' watching to gazing at the stars... watching Halley's Comet streak across the night sky.

So glad I took the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to observe Halley's Comet through a telescope when I did in 1986.... was on a pier at a place named Shorncliffe in SE Queensland, Australia, what an amazing sight!!!!!!!
