complete newb here...

I have been looking in the manual and online and I didn't see the following:

Reverse thrusters for the spaceships?  This would be nice.  Often when I am battling a fleet and need to retreat my ships do not reverse they fly closer to the enemy fleet in order to make an arc to the escape point.

Are there any settings I can set for a fleet/spaceships?  I can't recall the name of the wargame at the moment (TOAW?), but one of them has such an excellent feature.  You can tell your unit(s) what to do when they encounter enemy have several checkboxes with options as "Pop smoke and retreat"  or "Attack"  or "Hold position and defend" or "Engage at distance" etc. etc.

I will do more RTFM and see if I can find this info!
