Cannot install/play any mod at all

I cannot play or install any mod at all. When I try the apply the enabled mod game just crash.
And I have proper mods versions. My problem seems to be that game "Failed to Create D3DX Effect" and cant open source files.

what version are you playing? and what mods are your trying to play with? are you putting the mods in the proper locations? there are so many possible issues, if you could narrow it down it would be helpfull.

What version of windows do you have? Is it XP in a non-english language?


I've had this problem too with a spanish XP, because of the game not being able to recognize some characters in the mod's path.

 

Deleting the folder PipelineEffect of the mods that i installed did the trick for most of them.
