The Exodus Saga: Shattered Alliances
Background Story: The year is 2712, it has been over seven hundred years since humanity has spread itself across the stars in a mass exodus, leaving the cradle of its civilization, Earth. Even as the centuries progressed, mankind's struggle for power and wealth has only grown as the countless stars offer untold promises and opportunities. The Terran Federation, a loosely formed alliance of council members representing each nation, spread among hundreds of stars guide the human race under the pretense for peace and prosperity. Citizens are shown a projected reality by these powers, just as the masses were controlled countless centuries before.
With the expansion of human colonies all but spreading any further in this region of the Milky Way galaxy, once again the urge for power turns against those who wish to oppose one nation over another. Each nation will prepare their armies and some may form coalitions in order to keep a sense of peace among the stars. As time passes on, nations will rise and fall, armies will march forward and battle to uphold honor and peace for humanity. Wars of the past will hold no light to the chaos cresting the stellar horizons. Which nation will ensure the survival of mankind and protect the knowledge gained over the thousands of years since we first looked upon the stars with curiosity?
The newly dubbed Terran Federation has been rebuilding since 2505 at the end of the Terran Alliance Civil War sparked by an elected First President and the oppression that followed. Following the next fifteen years worlds and nations rebuilt from the damage battles wreaked havoc upon. An age of peace lasted another fourteen years, until January of 2534 when unknown hostile forces invaded the Prefectures of the Terran Federation with no intention of stopping. These mysterious invaders were the descendants of a colonization fleet lost 291 years prior.
The Exodus Dominion sought to reclaim their heritage by showing their distant cousins how corrupt mankind has become. Over time a simple belief to return home mutated into a driving force to overthrow corruption and any power to stand against the Dominion. Amid the chaos a silent coalition of worlds once hidden under secrecy floods the FTL-Comms across the Federation and known space their intentions to end the bloodshed and push back the Dominion and created the Pavonis Buffer Zone between the Exodus Dominion and the Prefectures of the Terran Federation. Despite the temporary peace, battles are still being waged due to the turmoil and damage done during the invasion.
Now the once united Prefectures have withdrawn from the Terran Federation amid the invasion to shape their own destiny, and fight one another for control of humanity and the future. History will be written by the hands of victory, and the defeated shall be lost to the emptiness of space. Welcome to the trials and tribulations of The Exodus Saga: Shattered Alliances, and the future of mankind.
Expected Mod Features:
Mod Details: A total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment, mod work in progress. So far this mod has only just taken off from the launch pad and is slowly being developed by Grendel's Workshop. Release date: TBD. This mod is based exclusively upon a scifi story I am currently writing, and have postponed for development of this Conversion Mod for SoaSE. Currently this is a solo project as I plan to utilize the Distant Stars Mod created by a talented team of gamers. Any mods I do include will have expressed permission from those teams who've spent countless hours creating what I plan to use to greatly speed up my production. As far as release date, there is none, I will not post any "Mod Files" until I have a functioning version to be tested by fans of the Sins Universe. Below are some of the expected features that will be available in the public release, keep in mind some features may not be or may be added upon or changed entirely...

Expected Mod Features (version will be compatible with Entrenchment v1.03 or later depending on release date and official game updates):
- Three Playable Factions (replacing original races from game):
- Terran Federation: Comprised of 10 Prefecture states unified under a central government, each with their own independence, culture, however the technology is all similar in nature due to a Technological Defense/Trade Pact.
- Pavonis Buffer Zone: Schism of former Terran Alliance, earned independence through a secret war between the two governments and later signed a treaty with the Terran Alliance High Council (equivalent to current day NATO).
- Exodus Dominion: Lost colonial fleet forced to survive while cut off from Terran space for generations, in effect creating a huge rift between nations. Unknown to all powers is the close proximity of each civilization, leading to future contact, and conflict.
- All will have custom logos to depict each faction added to the graphics interface, along with custom names for factions and ships, removing stock names.
- All races are based on different Terran technology so sorry there are no aliens... yet (mind you I have a total of 12 major factions and about 14 minor factions, all Terran, in the actual story, additions may be added later depending on mod development).
- Multiple map designs based loosely off the story I am writing (again, there are 342 star systems in the actual story).
- Completely custom models, replacing all units and structures within the game as a whole (everything down to the minefields).
- All ships will have new attack abilities to a degree:
- Attack Frigates, Missile Frigates, Flak Frigates, Attack Cruisers will remain mainly untouched for offensive/defensive purposes.
- Command Cruisers and Drone Cruisers will have stronger weapons more for defensive measure versus offensive capability. Carriers will be capable of Flak weapons if possible depending on unit limitations.
- Capital Ships will remain as they were, however abilities may be changed or switched depending again on unit limitations (i.e. Command and Support Cruiser abilities may be interchanged like the Colonize and Shield Restore abilities).
- Updated effects, research trees, balancing, planet/star types will be supported by:
- Distant Stars by Skyline and Team which includes Mini-Mods:
- Sins Plus by UZI
- Bailknight's Graphic Mod
- Volumetric Explosions & Damage Effects v1.13 by ManSh00ter
- Sins Sounds Enhancement MOD by Gurkoz
- Planetary Abilities concepts by -UE_Carbon
- Celestial Bodies 0.8b by TohKlidan
- Modified interface graphics to closer engulf yourself while staying up late at nights.
- Lastly, to hopefully complete the effect on your brains, completely custom music. I cannot compose all the music for the game, most in-game music will be provided by multiple computer games with unique orchestrated music for you space fans. Credits will be given to those implemented into the Mod upon release of the Beta Version.
