Looking for a Group

A group of players that every so often like to have a multi-star game and no rushing for like 30 mins,i find the longer games actually require more then 'build illuminator,build illuminator,build illuminator' also play agaisnt some unfair AI's, i'm decent at the game, i played a single star 10 way with 9 unfairs and won fairly handily after a staggering 13 hours...was alot of fun thought. I just need to get this stupid impulse crap to actually download the update, i don't have entrenchment btw...yet.

Haha cool cool, do you have entrenchment or just the standard version? where can i buy entrenchment?

Raging has Entrenchment as anyone who is serious about multi-player Sins does... (hint hint - buy buy).

You get it via Impulse - there is a tab for buying (make sure you are signed in to your account correctly as you don't want multiple accounts) - you then order it, pay for it (CC or pay pall) and then it is available to download...

Just to be on the safe side, patch vanilla sins to the latest version first... Just to be sure

I agree that it would be good to get Entrenchment since that's where most of the action is.  On the otherhand, you're more likely to find newer players on regular Sins.  As for multistar maps, I think the Large Random Multistar in 4v4 is your best bet.  However, it's still possible to get rushed on it (but much less likely than for the single stars) and it's also possible to find yourself alone on a star with 3 opponents.  (Now, some people find that rather thrilling, but your mileage may vary.)

I know I'm late to the party on this one, but are you and Raging Amish still playing together? Myself and a friend enjoy playing large, long games a lot, maybe we could join you?

I'm a fairly decent advent player (or so I like to think), but I'm not brilliant. My friend is less good, but he's getting better all the time (he plays mainly TEC, sometimes vasari).
