This may and well be my first post on these boards. I remember making my account and then I just kind of forgot about it. My experience with SoA2 actually started about 4 days before the new patch that pretty well screwed things to hell. I must say that SoA2 is one of the best mods I have ever played. It's extremely well done and every time I play it, I'm consistently amazed at how well it was put together. Does your team accept donations at all Major Stress? I'm not above paying for something that is so well deserved and the work that you and your team has put, and is currently putting in towards this, honestly, makes me feel a little guilty for enjoying something that is so well made for free. lol. If that makes any sense.

Sorry to hear that Stress.  I kinda' know how you feel though.  I graduated from college in May and still no job.  Anyway, keep after it!

Yea i need to find something "reasonable" soon, or i just may be saying "Tonight... I dine... In hell!" What i mean by reasonable is something honest, that is willing to pay what you are worth. Doesnt seem to be a lot of that around lately.

Just wondering, are you going to host anymore multi-player games, or are you just to busy fixing the mod?

I am up for hosting anytime im free and online . But been busy with real life , working on research and abilities.  

I seriously doubt the Dominion will be in the next release. They just wont be ready in time. Much needs to be done to re-balance them to the dynamic movement . I am still trying to figure out Shimmers method of balancing. Which TBH is confusing as hell. Despite the fact that i have all of the tables, and numbers smacking me across the face.

The status so far Jaylrpcs is on research and abilities. The federation is all but done. just need a few more ships, and structures. Will use vanilla sins models for now until new models are ready.

Klingons and Romulans will be the same as the feds but with a little less (mainly structures). Using vanilla sins stuff until we can get proper models ready for them.

Not having the vanilla factions load with the mod factions helps a great deal, because the mod factions now override the vanilla stuff. Frees up much resources.

I know i promised a new video, but waiting for a few certain abilities to be re-incorporated first before i make it.. Like the new cloak. Plus RL is at it again.

This is unbelievable, a week or so ago the mod was bust due to the patch and now you’re talking about releasing not just the Rommies but the Dominion as well. You guys are legends.

It is not unheard of to hire modders. Jack Lusted from the twcenter.net was employed by Creative Assembly to produce their next Total War game. We can only hope sins does the same.

I have a quick question. What will be the elite (sovy class) cap for the Rommies?

The D'deridex or Valdore?

The Valdore is supposedly newer and more advanced yet it was only seen in Nemisis. Whereas the D’deridex is seen throughout TNG and DS9 as the main ship in the Rommie fleet, and personally my favourite ship of all time.

can't wait to see the D'Deridex and the Norexan with the dynamic movement in action.

back in the 0.03c days I built fleets consisting entirely of D'Deridex ships just because they looked so menacing.

o i'm not back, just don't want your progress to fall behind. When using dev eve i'm still getting that dynamic error. Until thats solved i cannot update the dominion.

Really?  Living up to your screen name there, I see.  It's called having RL stuff to deal with, and when they do have the spare time (and inclination) to work on the mod I, personally, would rather them, ya know, be working on the mod.  Instead of posting on the forums every 5 minutes.
