Short version: first he just stalled already decided game (3v1), then turned download on (it lagged like hell) and went afk... we had to kill his every planet. It's not worth writing too much about this guy, just spit in his face when you see him.. Quar was there, he can back this up.

You should have seen the argument Champ started (in reference to the above incident) with a couple people who were waiting for a game to start. He was calling them homosexuals and whatnot. (This from a guy, who, based on his maturity level, probably barely has pubic hair and has probably never even been with a woman before.) Lots of lols.

Don't flatter yourself that much, you are not that good and I would finish QUAR if you would not help him.

Accusing someone to go AFK, and downloading while playing??? Didn't we chat on how I killed your fleet at my HW with my suicide SB?

WATCH the replay to see him trapped in his own lies and false accusation without ground.

Just because my allies mini-dumped, while winning, it does not mean that i should quit automatically, which obviously what these guys expected. And I was repeatedly asked to quit after allies left the game. But why should I?

I had a huge fleet (WATCH the replay), had booming economy, and was only defeated because they all decided to take on my HW together, which is a good and sound tactic, but i still managed to kill half their fleet with my starbase suicide, and jump distabilization effects.And had 3 more planets under control, with large credit reserves even after losing HW.

I had 2 AIs with huge fleets which i was relying on, because my allies were winning and they left their fleet intact, which i was commanding to attack opponent's HW and to retake my planets..but it took AIs too long and sometimes AIs won't attack when SB is on their way. Eventually, i quit when i saw i had no chance, after becoming economically unviable, with only 1 planet under control.

Again, I have won games with AIs vs humans before. And game is not over till its over, not because opponents say its over.

Just because some like quitting easily, doesn't mean others do too..Some like to fight till the end, if you don't like that, then don't join my games again.

I just watched the game and I agree wtih BvM and Quar.

They asked Champ (who was at that point the only human player left on his team) to quit at 1:12 when the game had been clearly decided. At that point, one of the empires on Champ's team (GrandVeer) had been just about completely wiped out by Quar (who ran over GrandVeer). Also, earlier in the game Gini, by far the best player on Champ's team, quit and asked for a remake when one of the newer players in an eco slot either quit or minidumped. (At that time Quar was well into knocking out GrandVeer.) At one point one of the eco guys on Quar's team also put up a Nova cannon.

At 1:38 when they were taking down Champ (who had started in an eco slot) and with a large fleet clearing off Champ's home terran, they asked Champ to quit again. Then at about 1:40 he blew up his star base and took down about half of Quar's fleet. That might have been a little irritating, and while not a bad move on Champ's part, it had absolutely no impact on the outcome of the game which had been decided long ago.

From the replay I wouldn't know if Champ started to purposely lag the game or not, but if he did, that's being a sore loser and very reprehensible. Champ's team really didn't have any chance after the 1:00 mark or perhaps even before that and the AI never really built up a particularly large or potent fleet, not that it really matters since AI is pretty impotent anyway.

Champ, there's nothing wrong with acknowledging when the game has been decided. Just accept that your team has lost even though it might not have been your fault, call it ggs, quit, and move on to the next game. Why waste time going through the motions when you could be starting a new, still competitive game?

Yeees, you still had chance when we took your last asteroid... If your teammates had stayed it might have been differrent, but it doesn't change the fact that you forced us to kill your every defenseless planet just in order to finish the game. You didn't quit after losing your fleet, you didn't quit after losing your HW. It's very infantile way of easing up your frustration, Champ_1. This is my last post in this thread.
