So, I'm not much of a router/network guy, and I don't really know what's wrong. I just recently got access to wireless internet, and decided I'd finally play some of the games on my non-work computer online. The router is an Airport (the mac wireless router, for those who don't know) and I'm using a linksys to get the internet on my gaming rig.
Now, I thought all was well and good, since I could access youtube, go to my e-mail, etc. all on my gaming computer. Not to mention, Sins worked online and I was happy. Then I decided that I would try some other games for kicks (games like Unreal Tournament, EVE, and Demigod). Needless to say I was quite suprised to learn that all of them wouldn't connect to the servers for the game. The real kicker for me was that Demigod doesn't work even though I was able to get it off the internet.
I searched around a bit, but all I can find are solutions for linksys routers. All of them suggest disabling firewall (done already), and a few other things I can't quite recall right now. So my question is simply, "how do I enable all these other games to be played online with an Airport router?"
Any help whatsoever with this problem would be fantastic.
Also, admins, if this is in the wrong section, please move it to the correct one.
