It is happening to a lot people, but Brad Warell gave us his word that they are working hard on it. We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm not one to preorder a game or get in on the first wave of players.  That being said, Demigod looks like a pretty interesting game.  Once the little quirks are worked out, I might get a copy.

I'm sure that Brad and crew will have the connection issues worked out before long and more connectivity will be added on top of that.  Stardock is pretty good at that sort of thing, even if the communication with customers part comes up short.  As far as technical prowess, we couldn't be in better hands.

Edit - Just to add, I feel your pain somewhat.  I'm also on 12 - 13 hours shifts, working through the weekend and not a lot of extra time on my hands ATM.  Giving up 2 hours at home would be a large investment for 25 minutes of play.

Never have and never will. Unfortunately dealing primarily in multiplayer is a pretty bad way to design a game, since at least the AI doesn't actively search for ways to abuse the game .

That's why I liked Gal Civ II, they went out of their way to build an amazingly entertaining AI then forcing me to deal with Johnny 'Leetness' Gamer who has been spending the last week examining the game to figure out how to 'hax the mainframe' .
