CB Sirrius Odyssey
This scenario map follows the Advent on their travel across the galaxy. After they left the Sol system their first stop is at the Sirrius system.
Story:
Fleeing as outcasts from the Sol System the ancestors of the Advent reached Sirrius.
To gain some supplies for their fleet they etablished an outpost. But Alien Nomads stand in their way to travel further...
Player/AI - Factions:
DoD - Daughters of Dawn (Advent) - starting with a poor developed planet and a fleet
SN - Sirrius Nomads (Vasari) - starting with a well developed planet and no fleet
Ideas and special features:
What i like most on this map is, that both players have a very different startup. The Advent have their small fleet and the Vasari have a good planet. All other maps I did before have a standard setup with a little bit enhanced defense. To make sure that the Advent can not rush through to the Vasari, I put a lot of obstacles in the map.
All the militias in this map are vasari, not only fleets but also a few independent colonies. Also this map uses the Pulsar, as a companion star in this binary star system.
I tested both sides severall times to get the balance to work. I hope it is fair no. But I am only playing Sins as a single player game so far, so I am not a pro! If you think this map is heavly unbalanced drob me a line here, that I can fix it.
