Hey everyone. Just finished a Beta-ish version of a mod that tweaks capital ships to be more...capital and tweaks/adds some of the cap ship abilities. Heres the details:
TEC:
Kol
-Adaptive Shield modded to include the Taunt ability from the Advent's Radiance battleship. Causes ships in the radius to focus fire the Kol when this ability is used.
Sova
-Missile Battery ability replaced with the ability to spawn flak frigs, 1,2,3 for each level. Costs a high amnt of Antimatter and has a very long cooldown.
-Rapid Manufacturing has become a standard ability and the boost to construction speed for friendly structures has been removed and the AM cost and cooldown has been reduced.
-Embargo is now the ultimate ability and prevents ALL enemy ships from phase jumping from the grav well as well as the original affects. Has a much higher AM cost and cooldown than the original
Akkan
-Colonize ability now gives a free extractor (crystal I think) on the first level.
-Targeting Uplink now gives ships in the radius a damage boost as well as the range and chance to hit boosts.
Dunov
-No changes
Marza
-No changes (thinking about editing Missile Barrage, not sure if thats going to happen yet).
Advent
Radiance:
-The radius of the beam and damage for the Cleansing Brilliance beam have been increased
Revelation
-Guidance updated; costs more, takes longer to cool down, has much shorter duration, increases ability cooldown by a huge amount (80%,90%,100&)
Not many changes to the Advent yet. I dont play them much and their abilities rely a lot on synergy so I would greatly appreciate any input on abilities that ppl want changed, modified, etc.
Vasari:
Skirantra:
-Healing Nanites removed and replaced with Phase Out Hull (I know, I know, hang on)
Jarrasul:
-Gravity Warhead replaced with Subversion
Antorak:
Almost completely changed to be a "real" support ship
-Healing nanites added
-!Brand new ability! Recharge Antimatter added
-Gravity warhead added
-The only remaining original ability is the Stabilize Phase Space ability
Vulkoras
-No changes
All capital ships have had their health, shields, and damage doubled as well as all cap ships start with 1 squadron and carriers cap ships have four. Each race now has "race specific" stat attributes for their cap ships: TEC have higher armor and slightly more antimatter, Advent have an extra squadron for all ships and two extra for their carrier cap as well as higher shield mitigation, and the Vasari have higher AM regen and better Culture protection.
(I may have missed/forgotten about some other ability tweaks that I did. Anyone who spots them, please post and I'll update the post to include those changes. New at this and I'm still figuring it all out
