Returning armarda Question?

I,m playing my 1st entrenchment game. I play as Vasari. My usual tactic is to get to RA ASAP. I found after getting to level 1 RA I thought I would get a few units , nothing . So I figured there was a change in the expansion pack . Went to level 2 RA , still no new units. So then I researched the whole phase tree, still nothing . Anyone know something I don't ?

Bottom Line is RA is not giving me the units, and yes I researhed the whole phase tree.

This is game breaking for me cause I'm playing 4 hard AI's, and I'm under constant attack on 3 fronts and the only thing saving me right now are the upgraded SB's. I'm ;osing units as fast as they get to the front . And I know its only a matter of time before they sweep me. I figure I got like 10 mintues to shore up or its over for me and I know I cant do it

 Little advice here would be awesome, I could just grind it out but I want to know why I can't have RA online, what am I missing , in the pre-upgraded game it worked fine, as soon as I got entrenchment it went belly up

RA requires spare fleet points (leave about 60 points for Level 1, about 100 for Level 2) since the ships you call for still occupy fleet capacity. Level 2 RA simply increases the amount of fleet capacity the called ships take (and therefore, more ships or more variety of ships).

The actual ships also take a bit of time to jump into the gravity well, thought it isn't very long.

RA costs resources to activate. About 2500 credits plus metal and crystal to recieve ships.

Thank you guys , but i did have the crew points , but didnt know about the resources, but I mean I havent gotten a SINGLE UNIT  yet, and there were times where I had ample resources ,,,, heh my other games the guy would just finish saying "research complete " and units fell from the sky ,,,,,so something is wacked, cause if I get no units from RA then no sence playing vasari, thats the whole reason why I play that race for the RA units and phase gates.

Anyone else had harder than usual receiving of RA units , like , never getting them?

But anyway thanks for the replies

There's the key-your phase node stabilizers have to activate it now.  And yes, it does cost resources-I was under the impression that update hit Vanilla some time ago, though.

Yeah, the change went into Vanilla for 1.1 .....it isn't that new.  Just select the phase stabilizer and click on the ability.  RA no longer gives ships for free....more like...Wholesale.

at 60% of the price, you get around 50 support points of frigates/cruisers that you don't have to research (I only put frigates bcuz of the occasional sentinel is in the mix) and this is instantly.  the only thing is that it costs a bit more crystal than it would normally (around 400 more)
