Firstly, how bad does the search feature on this site suck?! I don't think I've ever got a response other than "not found"!

Moving on(!), I'm trying to figure out how to better space the formations of ships. Formation setting (in ship entity files) sets the order from 0 to 2... but doesn't quite seem to accept 3 or 4 (from setting 2 they seem to huddle together at the back of the fleet).

Also they just generally huddle together. I tried increasing the mass setting in the ship entity but I can't see a difference. Setting your fleet spacing whilst playing the game makes things a little better but I'm just trying to figure out a better way to build in fleet spacing intelligence into the mod-able files.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.
