Whats up with people not leaving?

Im playing a 6player map and its only me and one other player left called Jenth. He has no planets or ships. He's not talking. So he probably afk with a scout hiding somewhere waiting for me to leave to get a cheap win. Can i report this player or something?

Its happened at least 3times now.

If its a team game he does not need scout to stay alive, he does need planets.  But in case of locked teams as long as his allies have planets he stays alive, even if his allies have surrendered but still have planets.

And yes people will do this for spite.

He (or she) may be doing it for spite. There could be other reasons for sticking around, may have gone to the restroom or alt-tabbed or was having a conversation with a team mate talking stratagey.

You never know really.

There are also some players who are too noobish to recognize when the game has been decided.  Also, as Astax said, some folks will hang around and hope for a minidump on your end, etc.

Im so fed up with it , that now ill quit if I know Ive won. I think one guy jokingly mentioned beating me this way lol.

I dont care for the victory screen anymore , and I dont care if it means the sore loser with a hidden scout gets a win.

Stats are bullshit.

However if we had a ladder and it meant proper ego-rankings , then id be super pissed off , super vexed at these players , super hating of Ironclad for not personally amending my stats , then ill quit the game in disgust and probably play something else.

Thus why I support Ironclad for not providing a ladder in this game. very good move .

Don't fret to much about it tho, players who have bad habbits usualy stand out and become infamous. You will eventauly hear about them and know when to call bullshit on thier stats.

Yeah Stats don't matter really. My stats say I never lost a game but many of my games that I might of lost or have won were DC'd by lost conn or somtimes that whole game freezes up and we never know who would of won. So just have fun and if you get to the point where u know you will win dont w8st your life on the game thats over just quit and start playing a new round withsomeone else
