Just wondering if anyone would be willing to give/make a tutorial on sizing the planets and stars inside the game.
I got my hands on Cybdevil's Sol Mod last night with the Sol system planets.
I figured out on my own that by opening the entity files for a specific planet you want to increase the size to, you simply need to open the .entity file with a notepad and adjust the "NullMesh" line. It was set to 0.00000 which I believe is the default. I set it to 60 and went in game to test it, and low and behold Jupiter went from normal size to HUGE! Which is exactly what I wanted.
Here is where I get lost however, When I opened the Yellow star .entity, there is no "NullMesh" line. Many other lines just not one that looks like the planet lines.
Basically what I ask is pretty simple for a model modder I am sure.
I would just like an "Official" tutorial made on how to modify the sizes of planets and stars. Which lines in what files need to be modded to increase or decrease the size of these models.
If anyone can help me get better at this, it would be MUCH appreciated.
Also, I know the game is RTS style and the planets and stars do not matter much, but I really wish someone would make MANY more planets and stars with different textures. That could be sized however you wanted with the tutorial I am requesting.
I am a map/galaxy maker more than a modder. My passion is the construction of super galaxies to form a universe that takes a very long time to explore.
Problem with that is, the planets and stars we can use in Galaxy forge are very limited. I really wish someone who was good at planets would make a mod pack of 50 or so planets and about 8-10 star types. WOuld be awesome and amazing for people like myself.
Anyway, enough for now, any help would be appreciated.
