Ok, my suggestion of a bigger badder Capital Ship is this:
A cap ship with just roughly 20-25% more hull points and 10% more shields. It'll cost 5000 credits, 600 metal + 600 Crystal compared to 3000 credits and 400 m/crystal.It'll take up 90 logistics points. It cannot be one of the starting free capital ships. Only obtainable after the 2nd capital ship logistics point research.
It'll have marginally more firepower than a typical cap (20%) and Flak turrets (equal to about 3 Flak Frigates)
It'll be able to carry 3 strike craft upgradable to 4, and it'll have special abilities such as the Ion Bolt, Flak Burst, and other (direct combat abilities) to make it a real battlewagon.
It'll by no means be invincible, it'll still go down to spam and in fact might be somewhat of a showpeice. It'll be like the super star destroyer in Star Wars or the Yamato in WW2, both went down due to being outnumbered and lost to strike craft spam. (lol)
The heavy logistics points and huge cost of the ship will essentially make this ship unspammable. It'll be most useful as a "tank" to draw in fire while other ships take out the enemy ships. Because of its only marginally better firepower, it won't make sense to make more than 1 or 2 at max.
This is a good suggestion, I know many people will like.
