ICO has not been down for 3 days as I have been playing online with a number of other people. I would guess you have an issue connecting to ICO on your end. When I upgraded to 1.11, it took me a few days to get into ICO without turning off my firewall (which I didn't want to do oviously) - turned out that I had to open port 7000. I had been fine with 1.05.
I suggest opening your user.setting file and ensuring all the ports listed there are open in your firewall. Otherwise, make sure you have lodged a ticket with ironclad's support email address (support@ironclad.com - I think that is the address.... - you better check it though)
