JaggedSparFel and I are planning a mod that reworks the trade and refining system in Sins, making players more dependant on trade and refining to fuel their war machines, and also allowing tactics like raiding to play a larger role instead of just spamming frigates and hoping you have built more than the other guy. Unfortunately, from what we have found out so far, you generate trade income regardless of how many trade ships you have or what their capacity is, it is simply the trade port sitting there that generates the trade income. We were wondering if anyone on these forums knew:
1. Whether or not you can disrupt trade or refining by blowing up the ships.
2. Whether or not trade and refining ships can be made to cost resources when spawned.
3. Whether a monetary bounty can be awarded to a player who blows up trade or refinery ships.
4. Exactly how trade and refining work codewise in Sins.
