From the main menu, There is a list like Single Player, Multiplayer, and so on. The Multiplayer button only allows you to join IP and LAN games. wow you did not read his post that well nico he stated that when he logs in there is manage account and empty list of players with no other options.
Here is my explanation when you are in manage account there should be create player, delete player, and use player buttons next to the player list. Click create player then use is it to fully log onto ICO, and you should update to v1.12 via impulse to be able to play online.
