I came home
and caught my kids
stealing cookies
etc.
When I went
bubbling soap suds
tickling people's noses
till they double
up sneezing all
over the roasted
grinch with dressing
running down his
prodigious stomach towards
the wet spot
that starkers left
on Santa's lap
after a lap
around the racetrack
where he bets
on tired old
grey mare's that
have wooden legs
and poor eyesight
so they wear
very colorful clothes
often mistaken for
fancy dress costumes
worn by pink
elephants in tights
and sequinned bras
