Apologies if this has been already answered, please direct me to the answer if that is the case.

SoaSE is the best impulse buy I have ever made and I love almost every aspect of it.  The only irritating thing is the game speed in multiplayer.  When playing solo you have the option of increasing or decreasing the game speed as desired.  This makes the game easier to play as I do not have to wait 30 minutes for a fleet to jump across half the system.  But as I have discovered, the keys normally associated with game speed are not active for multiplayer.  So my question is, is there any way to increase/decrease game speed when playing online or am I stuck playing it at 1x speed?
