Request for Sound Mod?

Anyone putting pro military-ish sounds in?

Is anyone out there putting together an alternate sound pack for the game?  I ~would~ but I'm a working Dad and hardly get time to play, never mind make mods...  But if I DID have time, I would replace all the ship confirmations in this game!

I tell you, if I were Emperor and Grand Warmaster of an Interstellar Empire and I ordered a Frigate to a new a new system and the Frigate Captain told me "Good one!" he would be peeling potatoes in the galley for the rest of his tour of duty.  Hell he'd be pulling double duty, shift 1 peeling potatoes, shift 2 cleaning the latrines!

"Frigate confirms" or "roger command" or something, ANYTHING else!

Anyone want to take on the project?

Edit:  Thought I would add that I generally love the game and this is my only real gripe.  Thanks Stardock and Ironclad!

This has bothered me as well. There ARE several sound mods out there, but those deal mostly with changing the music.

The responses in this game as the biggest let down imo (aside from no x+y axis )

 

"I'll do my best" ---->  "Brings weapons to bear at 54.29 by 11.16. Fire!"

Good One!  ROFL.

 

I just want a mod that beeps for 10 seconds or so in an very annoying fashion when my scout finishes building, so I will remember to go send him out right away.
